You are probably familiar with this publication as it’s gone through a couple different incarnations in its lifetime, but this rebranded, reinvigorated restart is in a league of its own.

I have been a fan and follower of City & State PA since its inception and am honored to take up this new role as editor. You can count on our talented team of top-notch reporters to deliver daily, on-demand stories from all across the Commonwealth. Another reason you should be excited about City & State PA’s relaunch is because our early morning First Read rundown offers a quick, digestible breakdown of the day’s top stories. No need to scroll through Twitter’s drivel for the news you want or read the politics page or business section of every media outlet you follow. We gather it all right in one place.

And we have a big event planned next month. Please join us on Thursday, June 17, when we recognize 2021’s Pennsylvania Power 100 – the most influential people in state politics and government. Made up of elected officials, labor leaders, political consultants, lobbyists, media personalities and business leaders who have made a difference in the Keystone State, this list was carefully crafted by our award-winning reporters and editors at City & State. Keynote speakers include Gov. Tom Wolf, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman and Congressman Brendan Boyle. The evening promises a ton of fun, too, when Fetterman and Boyle face off for a big debate on which mini-mart is better – Wawa or Sheetz. Will this scrap ever be settled?
