McCaffery headed to Pennsylvania’s high court; Dems sweep other state judicial races
Democrats will hold a 5-2 advantage on the state Supreme Court.
Unofficial statewide election returns showed McCaffery with a 53% to 47% lead over Carluccio, the president judge of the Montgomery Court of Common Pleas.
In the race for an open seat on the state’s Commonwealth Court, Democrat Matthew Wolf defeated former state Senate Parliamentarian Megan Martin by roughly 122,000 votes and was declared the winner by the AP.
Democrats Jill Beck and Timika Lane also won races for two seats on the Pennsylvania Superior Court, besting two GOP candidates, Maria Battista and Harry Smail Jr., per the AP.
