Opening the door for Opportunity – Highmark now statewide in PA

When opportunity knocks, we answer. The opportunity to provide more Pennsylvanians with more services called, and Highmark Inc. and certain affiliated Blue Shield companies quickly responded. We are pleased to now be working in the southeastern Pennsylvania market, offering a robust slate of commercial health insurance products in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. 

This means we’re bringing competition, more options and better pricing. We’ve built a comprehensive commercial provider network without any disruption for existing members. We’re developing new relationships and facing new competitors and challenges in a new market. But we’re not new to you – Highmark Blue Shield has been operating throughout Pennsylvania for decades. 

The solutions we’re offering are part of our Living Health strategy, which means better insurance products that support physical, mental, and social health. It means redesigning care delivery through value-based collaborations with physicians and hospitals, and bringing a suite of digital solutions that are increasing engagement, improving outcomes, and expanding access. By integrating health, coverage, and care, Living Health results in a simpler, more personalized, and proactive health experience to keep you healthy now, while preventing costly health issues later.

Additionally, we will continue our longstanding commitment to the communities in every region we serve, now including southeastern Pennsylvania. Through our Highmark Bright Blue Futures charitable giving and community involvement program, we’re demonstrating our dedication to community health and community and economic resilience.
